  1. Achievements of Department for AY 2016-17Highlights:
    • IEEE Students Branch Achievements: Ours is the only one Students Branch in Bombay section qualified for the outstanding branch award constituted by IEEE India Council. Moreover, out of the 12 student branches throughout India considered for outstanding branch award, we are at fourth position.
    • Knowledge Centre: Spoken Tutorial Project, IIT Bombay is pleased to welcome SRES’s Sanjivani College of Engineering, Kopargaon as a Knowledge Centre in the Ahmednagar district approved by the State Govt. Higher Education Authorities. The Project is a part of the National Mission on Education through ICT, MHRD, Govt. of India.
    • e-Yantra Lab : We have set up Robotics Laboratory in association with IIT, Bombay
    • students qualify GATE 2017: 02

    • students qualify GATE 2016: 05

    • SUPER RESOURCECENTRE, Spoken Tutorial Project IIT, Bombay, which is under National Mission on Education through ICT, MHRD, Govt. of India
    • Nodal Centre, ePrayog, IIT, Bombay.
    • Due to Excellent performance as a Super Resource Centre our Institute is now promoted to “Knowledge Center” from Spoken Tutorial Project, IIT Bombay. We are the First in India to become Knowledge Hub and conducted a “Train the Teachers Program” with 65+ participants from different nearby schools.
    • Local Spoken Tutorial video server established in E&Tc Department as an Pilot Project. Which was Inaugurated and appreciated by IIT, Bombay.

    • Inaugaration of “e-Yantra Robotics Lab” an initiative supported by IIT , Bombay was organized on 08/09/2016 by Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department, Sanjivani College of Engineering, Kopargaon. Sanjivani is the only organization which has e-Yantra Robotics Lab in Ahmednagar and Nashik district. The lab is inaugurated with auspicious hands of Hon. Amitdada Kolhe, Dr. D.N.Kyatanvar, Principal and Dr. A.G.Thakur, Vice Principal, Sanjivani College of Engineering, Kopargaon

    4. Sangale Pradeep, Billade Vaibhav, Kape Sameeer, Kulat Abhijit, Muthe Dhananjay stood 3rd position in “Search n Distroy” competition held at College of Engineering, Pune
    5. Kape Sameeer, Kulat Abhijit, Sangale Pradeep are Winners of National level competition “MITCOE-TESLA” in the event ‘Line Tracer’ held at MIT, Pune
    6. Miss Madhura Raul is Winner of “Debate competition” held at AVCOE Sangamner on 21-22 Sept 2016
    7. Jagtap Dnyneshwar, Jagtap Vinayak, Jape Akshay stood 2nd position in “Meteorite- 2016” event for paper presentation competition held at MET, Nashik
    8. Tanmayee Salunke and Madhura Raul are Runner up of “Technoamrut-2K16” in ‘Debate competition’ held at AVCOE Sangamner on 21-22 Sept 2016
    9. Nirman Khairnar and Dipak Gagare got First Prize in state level competiton “AMEXPO-2017”
    10. Kape Sameeer, Kulat Abhijit, Sangale Pradeep and Gudghe Prakash are Winners of National level competition “Spectra- 2017” in the event ‘Line Follower’ held at Sardar Patel COE, Mumbai.
    11. Sakshi Kadam and Pisal Pratibha Won National level paper presentation for the event “CHEMCOALESCE 2K17” held at SVIT, Nashik
    12. Jape Akshay and Vinayak Jagtap stood second positon at state level “METEORITE- 16” ‘Circuit Debugging’ competition held at MET, Nashik.

    Faculty Achievements:

    • B. S. Agarkar is awarded Ph.D on “High Speed packet classification algorithm for next generation network services” under the guidance of Dr. U. V. Kulkarni, from Shri Guru Govind Singh Institute of Engineering and Technology, Swami Ramanand Tirth Marathwada University, Nanded in June 2016.
    • Sidhant Kulkarni and Prof. Anant Chavan have completed “Restaurant Assistant: Order taking Robot” theme assigned in the “Task Based Training“ challenge conducted as a part of e-Yantra Lab Set up Initiave (eLSI). The given task was “Restaurant Assistant: Order taking Robot”
    • E-Yantra task based training class A award winner and completion certificate along with cash prize from IIT, Bombay, which comprising of Team leader Prof. Sidhant Kulkarni and members are Prof. A. S. Chavan (E&Tc Dept.), Prof. N. D. Sadaphal (Mech Dept.), Prof. M. A. Sale (Computer Dept.)
    • Total Number of Faculties registered for PhD. = 09

    IEEE Student Branch Activities:

    IEEE Branch has been working in our college since 2002 and has organized many programmes to enhance the technical, professional and communication skills of the students. In the last academic year a special programme SKEP (Skill and Knowledge Enhancement Programme) was organized by IEEE Bombay section during 2-3rdSept 2016 around 300 students took advantage of this programme in which experts from industries and research organizations imparted their knowledge and experience with the participants.

    A workshop on “Entrepreneurship Development” is also on the agenda of the student branch this year.

    ETESA Activities:

    • Interdivision cricket competition was organized for FE to BE students on 26/12/2016. For this competition BE(B) division stood 1st position and SE (B) stood 2nd
    • “CHECKMATE”  a chess competition was organized at College level on 06/01/2017. Prof. S. K. Gupta, Shubham Gunjal, Suraj Agarwal, Gajanan Patil, Prof. Anant Chavan are  the winners. 46 students and staff participated in this event.
