Mechanical Engineering deals with the design, development, manufacturing and maintenance of machinery. The department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 1983 with an intake of 60.Now Mechanical Engineering department offers the B. E. (Mech.) degree with an intake of 120 students regular and intake of 60 lateral and M.E. degree in Design Engineering with an intake of 18 students.
